How long should you keep your computer's packing box?  

We recommend that you keep the original packing boxes for a least one month or longer if you have the storage room. Some manufacturers will only accept a returned product if it is in the original packing box. Other manufacturers may blame inadequate packing caused damage to the product if you pack it yourself. Once you are sure your product is functioning and/or your warranty has run out, then it is safe to discard the box. Read your return information carefully when the product first arrives. Record the name of the product and the date received on a sheet of paper and store it in the box so that you will know what box to return it in and if the warranty has run out.
